Newborn

We have a newborn in the house.
He still has no name.
He is:
Mom and Dad's happiness,
grandma’s and grandpa’s little pet,
aunt’s little cake,
uncle’s flake,
cousin’s cat,
neighbor's hat.

When the time finally came to decide
The name of this little heart,
Everyone wanted to take part.

Let his name be John because he has John’s smile! -- cried Mom.
Let his name be Tom because he has Tom’s nose! - cried Dad.
Let his name be Leo because he has Leo's figure! - cried grandma.
Let his name be Theo because he has Theo’s voice! - cried grandpa.

Then I cried out loud:
Let his name be JOHNTOMLEOTHEO
Because nobody was ever called that!

Trouble

A lot has occurred
When the bell was heard:
milk has boiled over,
someone picked all the clover,
cat has meowed,
parrots were loud,
ball of twine got entangled,
granny got mad,
neighbors took a peek,
hamster woke up.
So, even when you turn on a tap,
an avalanche of events starts to unwrap.

Tibor’s secret
Tibor has a secret.
He won't tell anyone,
he doesn’t want to get burned.
His secret is
mysterious,
tangled,
wrapped,
tied,
binded,
tucked in,
incredibly
hidden,
awfully
important
to Tibor!
So don’t be:
bores and botherers,
spies and discoverers
you curious creatures,
you inquisitive creatures.
In short:
Don’t be
- BORING AND THAT'S IT!

Clown

Little clown
is not showing off his feathers
like a peacock.
He's a blushing little creature
that doesn't have his bed.
When the fun and games are over,
there's no place to go,
he's lonely and sad.
Maybe a famous magician will stop by,
and unspell the sorrow
that presses his heart,
his painted face,
his rounded belly,
his buttons made of jelly.
Why don't you invite him to your home?
He will turn his sadness
into a happy smile,
there's no sound of cry,
just a smile in your eye.

Around the house pets

AROUND KOKO’S HOUSE, AROUND THE HOUSE PETS
DWELL:
FLUTTERING BUTTERFLIES,
RUSTLING HEDGEHOGS,
CROAKING TOADS,
DIGGING MOLES,
SINGING WARBLERS,
SQUIRRELING SQUIRRELS.
LADYBUGS ARE SPYING ON GRASSHOPPERS,
LIZARDS ARE AT THE DOORSTEP.

KOKO LOVES THEM ALL
JUST LIKE HIS OWN CAT AND DOG
AND SO IN THE GARDEN YOU CAN FIND:
SAUCERS FILLED WITH WATER,
PILES OF STRAW,
TWIGS,
SEEDS,
KOKO BRINGS IT ALL
SO THAT THE SMALL DWELLERS
WILL ALWAYS BE HIS
- - AROUND THE HOUSE FRIENDS.

Love problems of an ant

Ant's heart is broken.
He fell in love with a queen ant Annie.
When he wanted to give her a kiss,
Let's just say there was no bliss.
Annie, not very canny, just said: No!
Ant fell right out of love,
and said to his undestined dove:
My love stops here!
You will not step over my heart,
because love of an ant
is a fragile plant!
So I'm changing my tune
because I will fall in love again soon!

Danger over the anthill

Beside an anthill looms a large cloud.
Will the flood start rushing loud?

There is no more food in pantries made of clay.
Oh, will those ant dams give way?

A legion of ants is scurrying through the hallways.
New danger is at hand!
Above the anthill a huge monster stands.
It looks like a little boy clapping hands.

Let’s hope he does not squash the anthill!

What fairy tales need?

Prince's horse.
Fairy's wand.
Pinocchio's schoolbook.
Snow White’s apple.
Cinderella's glass slippers.
Witch's broom.
Dwarf’s hat.
And all kinds of little things,
of horses and kings
that a fairy tale brings.
Because in fairy tales everything can happen,
and everything can be transformed.
But one thing is unchangeable,
one thing is priceless,
one thing is hard as rock:
Good must triumph over bad!
